Bluepunkk - A Bitterblue Giveaway

... I have 200 pages of this left to read, but I want to give it away when I am finished. Anybody want it? I suspect that you do.

So, we are going to do a giveaway in the style of the Shiverpunkk and Clockppunkk giveaway from last year - and the Rothpunkk giveaway from earlier this week... for those of you who entered that contest, this may be a lot of copy/paste repeat for you, I fear. My apologies.

And, of course, we are playing the guessing game.


For those of you who have not ever entered a giveaway on Bibliopunkk it's simple... I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 5,000. Leave your number guess in the comments with an email so I can contact the winner later (the email is necessary to enter, folks). First person to guess the correct number wins. I'll repeat - if two people suggest the same number only the first person to guess it gets the book. I will close this contest on April 6th, 2012. This contest is International.

Now... here's the twist... I want to give you folks as many chances to win as possible, so I am upping the odds a little. I want you to pass on the word that I am giving this amazing book away... so, for every social media site update, tweet, goodreads blurb, blog mention, tumblr, live journal post (etc. etc.) that you spread online you get an additional chance to guess at a number. You get one free chance to enter, then you must work for the next chance. All I ask is that wherever you mention the contest you return and give me the link in the comments... you give a link, you get another guess.... you give 20 links, you get 20 more guesses... and so forth and so on. Keep doing it the next few weeks, you keep getting chances. It's that simple.

So post.. and post... and repost... you can retweet the devil out of it for all I care... just post! Get this out into the aether people... repost all day if you must. The number of times you can do this is infinite, as long as you keep copy/pasting links back to me.

No private emails please, this will not count. Neither will “so, I told my friend about it” without a link to where you told your friend about it. I need a link to be able to see that the contest was mentioned somewhere online… something I can verify. If you provide a bad link your entry will not count. Even if it is the correct number. I do not appreciate or reward frauds.

Also, there is a not-so-secret word you must place in the posts around the internet… because I love not-so-secret words… and I can easily find it online in a word search…. The not-so-secret word is:

So, spreading “the word” benefits you immensely in this case... so please do... I want more than the same 50 people entering folks... I love you all, but I have lots of your addresses memorized now... I want to see some new faces around these parts. I want to be able to google Bluepunkk and see a ton of responses. Let’s make Bluepunkk go viral, or at the very least trend on Twitter.. I have no hopes of breaking blogger but… you know… you can try to break blogger… there are 5,000 possibilities, after all. ;)
